Welcomes their friends. Gladly watches all the movies. Prays the nighttime fears away. Algebra. Knows when a little boy needs to feel like a big boy (and how to make that happen). Brings eye-black to flag football games. Holds them down scary rock slides until they're pumped to do it alone. These are just a few of the reasons that make me so grateful he's theirs.
